Kid's Area! CT Safe Routes to School

Teachers & School Officials

The safety and health of your students is very important and the Safe Routes to School Program can assist you in fostering a safe and healthy environment for them.

The hazards of drop off and pick up times can be drastically reduced through the education of and outreach to your student and parent community. Discuss SRTS with your safety committee or parent organization and find out how your school can get started. You can learn more about starting a program in your school by downloading the Connecticut Safe Routes to School Master Plan Guidelines.
